862758419 2011-09-07 I received a call from Mr. Robert Besau(330-257-2302)of Rte 224 in Atwater. He wanted to know about the drilling of the well and what the company is going to do for keeping the water out of the location. He also was concerned about the smell, his water well and oil getting into the ditch. Mr. Besau stated that they were making the location now. He is concerned about the noise of the pumping unit from his house. His house is 156' from the wellhead with a small woods as a barrier. I told him the electric motor would not make much of a noise. He wanted a guarantee that there would not be any noise coming from the pumping unit. I could not do that. I stated that I would check the drilling location out and talk to Orion about his concerns. I talked face to face with the Orion field superintendent Warren Shoenselt cell 330-464-9634 about this matter. He stated that Mr. Besau had talked with him about all these issues. Warren is going to treat this well as a HB-278 well. Warren will check his water well before the drilling starts. A charchol filter will be installed at the tank battery along with a privacy fence and trees will be planted. The wellhead will have a dike around it for the protection from the ditch. The tank battery will have a higher dike around it for the same reason. This complaint is resolved.
