1377541038 | 2013-08-26 | My inspection this day due to very heavy rains along Archer's Fork that put flood waters up over this well, causing the release of oil. This well does not belong to Larrey Martin but is an orphan well, drilled by the Glen Clift family and last produced by Jack Eddy's father Virgil, now deceased, using it to provide house gas. Jack has indicated he will do LOG as a means to get well plugged. The well is located 15' off the edge of Archer's Fork Rd. and the tank sits only 10' off the road. The well is equipped with an old scissor pumping unit run by a central power unit and there is a small square tank used to hold fluids. The well has a wellhead on the 6 5/8 OD casing with 2 3/8 tubing, 1 rods. It also has 15-20 wood conductor still in place. The 6 casing likely stops at the top of the Cow Run Sand but there are no well records to indicate casing, formations or year well drilled (landowner thinks between 1906-1930's). Pictures taken, SEM is 203. Oil has been cleaned up with pads although still a small amount on vegetation.
-2142744353 | 2010-09-20 | Inspection this day found well still idle - old scissor jack and old square tank. Well should not be in Larrey Martin's name
-71573434 | 2004-01-14 | This well along road - old shackeline jack on it - square small tank sitting beside well - well has ID on it that says Eddy Lease and Eddy is operator - landowner well? - covered with briars and has not pumped in long time. |
