| -415303150 | 2014-12-02 | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Highlands Drilling Rig #10 drilled a 23 inch diameter hole to the depth of 484 feet and ran 454 feet of 18.625 inch 87.5#/ft. J-55 casing and had trouble removing their landing joint. Baker Hughes was on site and broke circulation, pumped 35bbls of gel and 10bbls of fresh water. Baker Hughes cemented casing with 492 sacks of Class A lead cement with 0.05% Static Free, 1% CaCl, 0.5% EC-1, 0.125#/sk. Cello Flake, 0.75gals/sk. FP-6L, 0.5% BA-10A, weighing 15.6ppg with a yield of 1.20cuft/sk. Lead cement was followed 209 sacks of Class A tail cement with 0.05% Static Free, 3% CaCl, 0.5% EC-1, 0.125#/sk. Cello Flake, 0.75gals/sk. FP-6L, and 0.5% BA-10A, weighing 15.6ppg with a yield of 1.20cuft/sk. Cement weight was verified by mud scales. Cement was displaced with 125bbls of fresh water. Good cement returns of 55bbls, plug was landed at 300psi and pressured to 864psi for 5 minutes and the floats did not hold pressured up to 850psi and shut in casing. | ||||
| 905989436 | 2014-11-16 | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Express Energy Services had drilled a 30 inch diameter hole to the depth of 100 feet and ran 100 feet of 24 inch conductor pipe. Express gained circulation and cemented pipe with 240 sacks Class A cement with 2% CaCl and .5#/sk. of floseal. Displaced cement with 47bbls of fresh water and had good cement returns of 15bbls to surface. |
