0672727430 2018-02-06 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations The well could not be located. The well may have been covered up by logging/tree clearing activity on the property.
1990820087 2014-09-09 Final Restoration No Violations This well location is that of the WL Clippinger 6, section 33, Perry Twp, Ashland County. This API does not correspond to Mohican River Energy well Joseph 34, which is located in section 26, Perry Twp, Ashland County. That well is under permit 34-005-6-1369. The location was confirmed via Quaker State plat maps dated 1989. The status of the Joseph 34, permit 6-1369, is final restoration. The WL Clippinger 6 was plugged in 1965 per historical records and does not meet current final restoration standards. The plug report on file dated 11/1/65 states that the well was filled from 739 to 600ft with ground clay. 165 ft of the 5.5 inch casing was recovered and 100 ft was left in the well. A bridge plug was set at the bottom of the casing and ground clay was washed into the casing. The bridge plug has failed causing the clay to drop down the bore. Casing is open at ground level. The top of clay was measured just over 100ft down hole with a weighted line, the approximate depth of the bottom of the 5.5 inch casing.
