The cable tool drilling rig was gone from the location but the doghouse and drilling tools were still on location. The wooden rig floor was still in place around the wellhead. The drilling pits were open and half full of water and I observed a sheen of oil on the surface of the pit water. The tank battery contained four 100 bbl. steel oil storage tanks, one 100 bbl.. steel water storage tank, one steel water knock out tank on top of the 100 bbl tank, one vertical oil and gas seperator and one 10,000 gal. steel lay down tank for brine. There was a new steel and wood catwalk installed on the tanks. No identification signs were installed on the tanks and the contractor will be notified to install the required signage ASAP. |
