| 1057516140 | 2018-11-14 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this well, as part of an investigation for possible referral to the Idle and Orphan Well Program. The well was equipped with a plunger lift assembly and not in production. The gate valve on the tubing was open but the 2 inch flow line valve was closed. The surface casing was exposed and both ports on the casing had bull plugs. There was a 1 inch domestic line with a drip bottle that was disconnected from the well, at the well location. The were no visible or audible leaks observed at the well. The well was located within an active area of farmland. The tank battery was comprised of one 100 BBL tank, one concrete brine vault and one vertical, mechanical separator. Valves on the separator were closed. No gas chart or meter was present at the tank battery location. The tank battery was diked. The tank battery equipment showed no leaks. The tank battery was also located within the active farmland parcel. No legible identification was located at the well or tank battery. There was no definitive lease access to the well or tank battery. |
