0373977336 | 2016-12-19 | Production Wells | No Violations | My inspection of this well found there has been no work done by the company to remove the contamination from the tank battery area. |
1239117590 | 2018-07-03 | Production Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well location as a follow-up to previous inspections that had noted the following deficiencies: release of oil and fluids into the containment interior, brine scald area on the north side of the containment exterior, corroded and failing flow-line tubing and appurtenances at the wellhead. At the time of this inspection, I found the noted conditions to remain unaddressed. There was no apparent changes to the condition of the well and battery to indicate any efforts had been undertaken to exact repairs or mitigate the contamination. The owner remains without active insurance. The well was in active production with an active domestic connection. |
1523558277 | 2016-08-26 | Production Wells | No Violations | On site with DOGRM Inspector Mike Dinsmore, at the time of this inspection the Demco valve and flow line valves were shut on the well. The domestic supply was active. The tubing below the Demco valve is failing; the Demco and the lubricating head are starting to lean to the east. Plumbing between the lines that come off of the tubing and the wellhead is failing and needs replaced. The tank battery has two production tanks in it. On production tank has written on it, tank bad 05/21/2013. There is free crude oil in the battery and the area to the northeast of the battery is scalded. I meet with Paul Pertz while inspecting the well. He stated that he has not had any disruption of domestic service. He also stated the well is known to make oil and he has seen an oil truck come to the battery in years to empty the tanks only Big Sky Energys brine truck. He also stated he has not received a royalty check in years from the company. I informed Mr. Pertz that the Division has order suspension of all gas production including domestic supplies until the company is bonded and insured. His domestic supply will need to be shut off. The following corrective actions need to take place: 1. Replace failing section of tubing. 2. Replace failing plumbing on the flow lines. 3. Remove defective production tank. 4. Remove any contaminated material. 5. Build up tank battery dike berm. 6. Remove and or bio-remediate scald area. |

At the time of this inspection, we found the noted conditions to remain unaddressed. 2121134581 | 2016-05-05 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | My inspection found the tank battery was equipped with two 210 barrel and one 50 barrel steel tanks and one separator. There was oil saturated absorbent pads and soil covering sixty percent of the area inside the earthen dike. I took three photos of the oil saturated area at the tank battery location. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit. There was a active domestic hook-up from the tubing head. The valves from the well to the flow line were closed. This well was not in production at the time of my inspection. REQUIRED REMEDIAL WORK: Remove all of the oil saturated soil and material from the tank battery area. |
