When I reached the top again some old metal roofing caught my eye, then about 15 feet from that was an old joint of 4 inch casing laying against a tree. There was the remnants of an old homemade ladder fashioned from 2 inch tubing. Up slope from there was an L shaped depression about 2 feet wide by 5 feet long. Division records indicate the well was plugged on 3/28/69. |
