1447779860 2015-11-12 Production Wells Violations Noted Well is in production and equipped with a pumping unit. Tank battery is two 100 bbl steel tanks, a separator, a water knock-out, and a dike. The dike was full of fluids and oil. There was a small leak in the line running from the separator to the tanks. Fluids had flowed over the dike in the past and resulted in scalding of an area roughly 5 x 15 feet. The identification on the well was not legible. Contaminated fluids and soils shall be removed from the site. And affected areas shall be reseeded and mulched in order to establish vegetative cover. Dike shall be constructed in order to meet SPCC standards. All producing leases shall be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the well-head or the storage tank as to owner, lease name, well number, permit number where available, county, and an emergency telephone number. If multiple wells are being produced into the common tank each well-head shall be identified as to owner, permit number where available, well number and lease name.
