This will need remediated and the line fixed. Once I contacted the company and returned to the location I discovered the oil was in the creek. It traveled close to 1/2 a mile and I was able to get it stopped before entering Mush Run Creek. Once the clean-up began four siphon dams were installed to let the oil collect to allow for the removal of it. I discussed this violation with Jaime Metcalf owner of the well, in person while at the lease. |

All producing leases shall be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the well-head or the storage tank as to owner, lease name, well number, permit number where available, county, and an emergency telephone number. Well shall be plugged or produced and records shall be submitted to the Division of Oil & Gas. All equipment possible containing hazardous materials shall be removed and disposed of properly in order to prevent possible future contamination. |
