0198374072 | 2018-03-22 | Production Wells | No Violations | The well is equipped with 5.5-inch diameter production casing. The well appears to be free flowing with no artificial lift technology present. The well is piped to a gas processing unit. From there, it is routed to a production area that contains four 400-barrel production fluid holding tanks. There were also three 500-barrrel frac tanks on site. Annular pressures read on the gauges provided appeared to be 150 pounds on between the outside of the 9.625-inch diameter casing and the inside of the 13.375-inch diameter casing and 1690 pounds between the outside of the 5.5-inch diameter casing and the inside of the 9.625-inch diameter casing . The production records within RBDMS are currently updated to 2017. |
0814502976 | 2018-08-21 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that the well was equipped with a 3-string casing design with 5.5-inch diameter production casing that appeared to be open flowing with no artificial lift technology. Annular pressure monitoring was in place for the 9.625-inch diameter intermediate casing gauge read 1100 pounds per square inch, and the 13.375-inch diameter casing gauge read 200 pounds per square inch. Production equipment included a Sand Separator, Gas Processing unit and four 400-barrel production fluid tanks, and a 50-barrel produced water tank shared with the other producing wells on the well pad. There were multiple Emergency Shutoff Devices on location, Identification tags were present, and production was up to date. |
0996289706 | 2018-08-07 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection found the well pad surface and lease road has a gravel surface and is in good repair. There are 6 wells present on the pad all in production. The said well is equipped with a lower A section and upper B section with 2 diameter riser pipes present at the well head and equipped with valves and manual pressure gauges to monitor annular pressure. The 13.375 x 9.625 diameter casing pressure was 200 pounds per square inch (psi) the 9.625 x 5.5 diameter casing pressure was 400 psi. The 5.5 diameter production casing internal working pressure was 1,800 psi and the production flow line pressure was 900 psi. The well is equipped with production tubing and was free flowing above line pressure. There are 6 gas processing units on location. At the right rear corner of the well pad is the production fluid facility consisting of 4 steel construction 400 barrel capacity production tanks located inside a polymer lined steel containment dike area. There is also a midstream station at the right front corner entry point of the well pad. Fire extinguishers and emergency shut down control points are present at all the critical areas of the well pad. The well pad perimeter is protected by an earthen berm. Also on this day I contacted Gulfports Production Superintendent Robert Coots and we discussed the 9.625 annular pressures on several of the wells on the pad along with having the well pad annulis monitored more closely while stimulation operations are going on the neighboring well pad. |
1495391994 | 2017-05-21 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection at 13:00 hours to witness the surface casing cement job with Nomac Drilling rig # 83 on location along with Stingray Cement Service. The rig has drilled a 24 diameter borehole to a measured depth of 420 off the rig Kelly bushing at 26. 420 of 18.625 J-55 grade buttress thread casing was installed in the well bore with a casing float shoe and float collar ran in the casing string and 5 casing centralizers ran on the string. Stingray Cemented the casing using a 139 barrel cement mix consisting of 650 sacks of class A cement with 2% calcium chloride and .25 pound per sack flow seal additives. Circulation was established by the drilling rig while landing the last casing joint and 25 barrels of gel spacer was ran ahead of the cement. The cement weight was verified by weight of scale at 15.6 pound per gallon and cement returns were witnessed to surface at 80 barrels into a total of 116 barrels of fresh water. The final cement displacement pressure was 225 psi (pound per square inch) and the casing was pressure tested at 787 psi. Casing float collar held fluid when the pressure was released. |
1495496185 | 2017-05-22 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the mine seam isolation string with Nomac Drilling rig 83 on location along with Stingray Cement Service. The rig has drilled a 17.5 diameter borehole to a measured depth of 1,201 with coal seams encountered at depths of 720 to 750 and 930 to 1,020, the coal formations were marked by the mud loggers. Nomac Drilling ran 13.375 diameter 54.5 pound per foot J-55 grade buttress thread casing with a casing float guide shoe ran on the bottom of the string and a float collar ran in the string at 1,157, 14 casing centralizers were ran. The rig established circulation while running the last 4 casing joints into the well bore. Stingray Cemented the casing by 1st pumping 25 barrels of 6% gel spacer followed by 190 barrels of cement consisting of 900 sacks of Class A cement with 3% calcium chloride and 0.25 pound per sack loss circulation material. The cement weight was verified by weight of scale with the 1st of 3 samples weighing heavy at 15.8 pound per gallon. The cement was displaced to the float collar with 180 barrels of recycled fluid. Cement returns were witnessed to surface at 149 barrels into displacement. The final cement displacement pressure was 550 psi (pound per square inch) and the casing was pressure tested to 1,050 psi, casing floats held. |
