0949739794 | 2018-10-22 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Patterson UTI 579 had drilled the 17.5-inch diameter hole to a depth of 2482 foot. Wyoming Casing crew ran 643 feet of 13.325-inch diameter J 55 casing at 61 pounds per foot, and 1811 feet of 54.5 pound per foot J55 buttress thread casing with 2.6 feet of casing above Kelly Bushing, which is 26 feet above ground level. C&J Energy Services was on site and rigged up their cement head and loaded lines with 5 barrels of fresh water and pressure tested to 2000 pounds per square inch. C&J Energy Services pumped a 50-barrel gel spacer, washed up and then pumped 382.26 barrels 1789 sacks of 15.6 pounds per gallon with a yield of 1.2 cubic feet per sack Class A cement mixed with 5.25 gallons of water per sack. Cement was displaced with 373 barrels of fresh water, plug was bumped at 1050 pounds per square inch and pressured up to 1550 pounds per square inch floats held with 2.5 barrels of flow back. There were 63 barrels of good cement to surface. I informed XTO Superintendent Scott Arnold that the casing must remain static until cement reaches a compressive strength of 500 pounds per square inch. |
1247511707 | 2018-10-17 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson UTI 579 was currently tripping out of the hole at 175 feet. After speaking with XTO company man Levi Grover he informed me that they were drilling cement at 636 feet with the 12.25-inch diameter bit and the Bottom Hole Assembly became clogged and they were not able to circulate. They plan to continue to trip out of the hole and change out their Bottom Hole Assembly and continue to drill to approximately 2,500 feet. Levi Grover informed me that they plan on running 13.375-inch diameter casing on 10/20/2018. |
1973164922 | 2019-01-15 | Completion Testing | No Violations | Status check inspection found the well drilling process complete and the well being prepped for the stimulation process. Surefire Wireline is on location and is preparing to run a bond log on the vertical section of the 5.5 diameter production casing. C&J Pressure pumping is slated to mobilize on location and begin stimulation in the next 14 days. |
