0066379092 | 2018-06-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Pioneer 71 was currently tripping in the hole with drill pipe. After talking with Company Man Jeff McNeil he informed me that at 700 feet into the trip they started having trouble tripping in the hole. There appeared to be some cement still on the casing walls. They had performed a Blow Out Preventer test earlier that morning with no failures, and a casing integrity test that pressured up to 365 pounds per square inch with no pressure loss. Pioneer Rig 71 then drilled through the shoe track plus 10 feet to a total depth of 1673 foot. Pioneer rig 71 then topped off the well bore with fresh water and performed a hydrostatic test for 30 min with no fluid losses. |

2056991945 | 2018-06-20 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that KLX Energy Services on location and running a Cement Bond Log on 34013213450000. After talking with Ohio Department Natural Resources inspector Andrew Corder I was informed that Stingray Cementing was approximately 20 barrels into cement displacement when the pump truck began to pressure up and could not complete the cement job on the 13.375 inch diameter surface casing. Pioneer Drilling tagged cement plug at 137 feet and drilled out cement to 1609 feet. Pioneer performed a 30 minute Hydrostatic test with no losses. KLX Energy Services was on location and performed a Cement Bond Log from 1337 feet to surface and determined that cement top was approximately 1030 feet from surface. Pioneer 71 ran 533 feet of 1 inch diameter tubing between the 13.375 inch diameter casing and the 17.5 inch diameter anulas and was given approval to cement through 1 inch diameter tubing from Ohio Department of Natural Resources South East District supervisor Mike Moreland. Stingray mobilized to Sunset Pad and spotted their trucks and rigged up cement lines to 1 inch diameter changeover sub. Stingray then pumped 108 barrels, 510 sacks of 15.6 pounds per gallon Class A cement with a yield of 1.19 cubic feet per sack. There were 18 barrels of good cement returns to surface. I informed company man Jeff McNeil that casing must remain static until cement reaches 500 pounds per square inch compressive strength before further action can be taken. |
