0545117295 | 2018-12-17 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Precision Drilling had drilled a 36-inch diameter hole to the depth of 95 feet. Precision Drilling then ran 96.5 feet of 30-inch 118.65 pound per foot welded seam Conductor Casing. C&J Energy Services was on location rigged up their cement lines and performed a 500 pound per square inch pressure test, gained circulation with 5 barrels of fresh water and cemented pipe with 67 barrels, 315 sacks of class A cement with 1.5% Calcium Chloride and .25 pound per sack of poly flake with a weight of 15.6 pounds per gallon and a yield of 1.19 cubic foot per sack. Cement weight was verified by mud scales, Cement was displaced to 92.5 feet with 78 barrels of fresh water. Mix water was tested revealing 35 parts per million chlorides, with a PH of 6.0 and 60.8 degrees. There were no cement returns to surface, cement level appeared to be at 21 feet with approximately .5- 1 barrel of water on top of cement. Ascent Company man Doug Bennett informed me that they intend to top off the cement on the conductors using 9 sack grout on 12/17/2018. |
1547135905 | 2019-01-10 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On site inspection at 10:00 am found Falcon Drilling rig 26 on location, the rig has drilled the 17.5 diameter surface borehole to a measured depth of 1,550 from a drilling rig floor heigth of 12above grade level. The rig is preparing to pull the drill sting and start in the hole with the 13.375 surface casing string. The rig and support equipment is situated on polymer containment with the well pad perimeter berm serving as the primary containment. The well pad perimeter is protected by an 8 chain link fence. Off location at 11:00 am and return at 9:30 pm to witness the surface casing cement job. The rig has inserted 1,541 of 61 pound per foot J-55 grade Buttress thread 13.375 diameter casing with a float collar and shoe ran along with centralizers on every 3rd casing collar. Once the casing was ran the hole was loaded with fresh water before commencing the cement job. The casing was cemented with a 324 barrel cement mix consisting of 1,530 sacks of class A cement. The cement weight was verified by weight of scale at 15.6 pounds per gallon. The cement plug was released and 30 barrels into displacement the job locked up. The company was advised to put a remediation plan together. Supervisor Mike Moreland worked with the company the following day and approved a remediation plan. The remediation was not witnessed. I was off location at 1:45 am on 01/11/2018. |

1878907971 | 2019-02-07 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that there were 5 existing wells on the pad. The wells were all equipped with 13.375-inch diameter casing and the A section of the well head. At the time of my inspection all the cellars were holding water. Vegetation had not been re-established around the pad and there were no annular pressures to monitor. There was proper signage at the entrance to the lease road and the well had proper identification. |
1987994438 | 2019-04-03 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Akita Rig 802 had drilled the 12.25-inch diameter well bore to a depth of 7,008 feet and conditioned and loaded the well bore with 9.6 pound per gallon oil-based mud. At the time of my inspection Wyoming Casing crew was on location and running the 9.625-inch diameter casing at a depth of 5,300 feet. After speaking with Ascent company man Heath Satterfield, he informed me that they intend to run the 9.625-inch diameter casing to a depth of 7,001 feet leaving 8 feet of wellbore below the casing string. Heath informed me that they would most likely be cementing early morning of 4/4/2019. |
