1553003310 | 2019-03-19 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job found the said well was spudded on 03/17/2019 by Lightning Energys auger rig. The rig drilled a 110 x 36 diameter conductor borehole with fresh water hit at 70 and a coal seam hit between the depths of 98 to 101. The rig set 110 of 26 diameter .375 wall weld connection casing with a 8 deep x 10 wide tin horn cellar set at surface. The casing was cemented using a 100 barrel cement mix consisting of 475 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 pound per gallon by weight of scale. The cement yield was 1.18. 10 barrels of cement returns were witnessed to surface inside the tin horn cellar with 1 of standing cement left in the cellar to cause a liquid tight seal at the bottom. |
1555926198 | 2019-04-19 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to witness the cementing of the 18.625-inch diameter surface mine combination string. Drilling rig Pioneer 71 drilled a 24-inch diameter borehole to a depth of 575-feet. A coal seam was encountered from 512-feet to 516-feet. Wyoming casing crew ran 575 feet of 87.5 pound per foot 18.625-inch diameter casing. The rig floor was 28 feet high and there was 4.19-feet of casing stick up. C&J Cementing Services plumbed up to Wyoming Casing Crews casing running tool and pressure tested their lines prior to pumping 50 barrels of gel, 935 sacks of cement, and 164 barrels of fresh water for displacement. The cement was class A cement with 3 percent calcium chloride and .25 pound of flake. A cement sample was pulled and weighed in pressurized mud scales confirming the weight of 15.6 pound per gallon. Roughly 35 barrels of cement returned to surface. The plug was bumped and held for 5 minutes at 500 over pumping pressure. The floats held and 1.5 barrels were bled back to the pump truck. |
1555936740 | 2019-04-22 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | Drilling rig Pioneer 71 drilled a 17.5-inch diameter borehole to a depth of 2276-feet. casing crew ran 2272 feet of 54.5 pound per foot 13.375-inch diameter casing. The rig floor was 28 feet high and there was 3.95-feet of casing stick up. C&J Cementing rigged up and pressure tested their lines prior to pumping 50 barrels of gel, 1680 sacks of cement, and 340 barrels of fresh water for displacement. A cement sample was pulled and weighed in pressurized mud scales confirming the weight of 15.6 pound per gallon. Roughly 50 barrels of cement returned to surface. The plug was bumped and held for 5 minutes at 500 over pumping pressure. The floats held and 2 barrels were bled back to the pump truck. |

1644298332 | 2019-04-24 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Pioneer Rig 71 was currently drilling at 6,045 feet in the 12.25-inch diameter section of the well bore. After speaking with Gulfport Consultant Scott Treadway, he informed me that they have a scheduled bit trip before they hit the Clinton formation and will most likely be cementing the 9.625-inch diameter deep intermediate casing on 4/27/2019. I performed a walk around inspection of the rig and found no issues that needed addressed. |
