Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1448290824 2015-11-04 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations Mr. Devitt, the landowner, contacted the Division regarding a water quantity problem. Mr. Devitt operates a large chicken farm and has problems obtaining water from the wells near the barns. The Divisions well map shows two Berea wells in the vicinity of the chicken barns. Records show both Berea wells as plugged. Mr. Devitt has not seen evidence of this well and there was not physical evidence of the well found during todays inspection. There are four unplugged Berea wells that are evident and not in production that remain south of Chase Road on Devitts property. The Division Hydrologist, Kyle Tharpe, is handling the water well complaint. Four Berea wells are in existence and Mr. Devitt has contacted the Division through out the years regarding placing these wells in to the Orphan well program for plugging, see Complaint 5168.
