0402525141 | 2018-11-22 | Temporary Inactive Well Status | No Violations | I conducted a status check of this well which is currently under temporary inactive status. The access gate and man doors were locked. The well was equipped with a Christmas tree assembly and the well and cellar were surrounded by a gate. The surface/intermediate annular gauge displayed zero psi, and the intermediate/annular gauge displayed a reading of 550 psi. Other equipment on the pad consisted of six 400 bbl tanks which were surrounded by a dike and one low pressure vertical separator. Vegetation along the pad perimeter was established and I detected no erosional issues. |
0614921693 | 2015-02-27 | Administrative Inspection | No Violations | I conducted a Temporary Inactive Status (1st year) inspection of this horizontal, Utica Shale well. There is currently no infrastructure (pipeline) in place that would allow this well to be produced commercially. Drilling of the 8H well was completed on 5/20/2012 and the well was stimulated between 6/12/2012 and 6/15/2012. The well was tested (flowed back) during the final quarter of 2012 and shut-in to wait on pipeline. Identification is posted at the lease road entrance. The access gate is locked. The entire well pad is secured with chain link fencing and topped with three strands of barbed wire. The lease road and pad are in good condition and constructed of limestone. Access gates to the pad are locked. The wellhead is shut in, surrounded by steel gating, and contained within a liquid tight cellar that is covered by metal grates. The gate valves are chained and locked. There is 1400psi on the 5.5 production casing and a gauge indicates 60psi on the annulus between the production casing and 9.625 intermediate casing. The cellar was inaccessible at this time due to snow cover, and I could not determine if there was a gauge on the 13.375 surface casing annulus. There are six (6) 400 barrel tanks in the diked tank battery and the tanks are empty. The flow lines between the vertical volume pot and the vertical separator are closed and disconnected in areas. There are no permanent production units connected to the flow lines and the temporary equipment used during the testing phase have been removed. Both of the pad underdrains are closed and there are security cameras located at the entrance to the pad. I found no safety or compliance issues that would deny granting temporary inactive status (1st year) for this well. No violations. See Temporary Inactive Status Checklist for details of this inspection. |

1816755307 | 2012-05-16 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on site to conduct an inspection and check on the status of Nomac Drilling Rig# 25. My inspection revealed that Nomac Rig# 25 is drilling at 8007. We talked with the drilling consultant, Dean Cooke, and he advised that they should finish drilling the well this weekend. The inspection revealed no violations at this time. NOTE: Accompanied by Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management Inspector Rick Anderson during this inspection. |
