1389830413 | 2013-12-16 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on site to witness the cementing of the 20 inch conductor casing. My inspection revealed that Precision set a 30 inch sleeve to 20 feet and then drilled a 26 inch hole to a total depth of 120 feet. They ran 120 feet of 20 inch conductor casing and Allied cemented with 309 sacks of Class A (2% CaCl and 1/2 pound per sack floseal) cement. The cement had a density of 15.6 pounds per gallon, a yield of 1.18 cubic feet per sack, and they used 5.23 gallons of mix water per sack. Allied pumped 65 barrels of cement slurry, 39 barrels of displacement, and there was 12 barrels of cement returns to surface. My inspection revealed no violations at this time. |
1595032864 | 2015-12-30 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to conduct a preliminary restoration inspection. The well is open flow with a wellhead Christmas tree assembly. Jersey barriers were installed around the wellhead. The well is properly identified with a clear, legibly-marked well identification sign. The tank battery consisted of six, 400 BBL production tanks and was diked. The tanks are located within a spray-lined and sealed secondary containment. There are e-stops outside the barriers, and the tanks are grounded, and have static dissipators. There is a truck grounding area for trucks collecting condensate and/or produced water. Lightning protection and a windsock are installed on top of the production tanks. Other production equipment on the well pad consisted of:
Jersey barriers are installed around the production equipment. The entire well pad is enclosed with a six-foot high, chain link fence with three-strand barbed wire and the man doors were locked. Along the interior of the chain link fence there is an earthen berm and it was stable. The soil stockpile is well-stabilized with vegetation. Drainage and erosion controls at the pad are in place and functioning. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. The pad has a crushed limestone surface, and is in good repair. The lease road is stable and drivable. Preliminary restoration passed. |
1715307190 | 2014-01-15 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on site to witness the cementing of the 13 3/8 inch surface casing. My inspection reveled that Nomac Drilling Rig # 74 has drilled a 17 1/2 inch hole to a total depth of 601 feet and ran 591 feet of 13 3/8 inch surface casing ( 54.5 pounds per foot / inside diameter 12.615 inches). They installed 6 bowspring centralizers on the casing string on joints 1,2,5,8,11, and 14. Schlumberger cemented the casing with 535 sacks of Class A (D901) cement with 1% D154, 0.2% D046, 0.15% B160A, 0.5% B348, 0.6% S001, and .125 pound per sack D130. The cement had a density of 15.6 pounds per gallon, a yield of 1.2 cubic feet per sack, and they used 5.219 gallons of mix water per sack. Schlumberger pumped 114 barrels of cement slurry, 85 barrels of displacement, and there was 28 barrels of cement returns to surface. They bumped the plug at 7:46 pm with 248 PSI and the bumped the pressure up to 769 PSI for the casing test. They conducted the casing test for 5 minutes and the casing test was approved. When they released the pressure, there was 1/2 barrel of freshwater flowback. My inspection revealed no violations at this time. |
