0157819360 | 2017-09-19 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to witness the plug and abandonment of well #2-0358. Due to fluid conditions in the well, a tremie line of 2steel tubing was placed in the well. Approximately 1.2 yards of 9 sack grout was poured in the annular space of the tremie line followed by additional freshwater to fully displace the plug. After the tremie line stopped flowing, the tremie line was removed and 490 of 4.875 production/intermediate casing was removed from the well. After removing the casing the top of cement was measured at 549. The well remained static. No conductor or drive pipe was present at this location and the 6.25 surface casing remained in place. The well bore volume was calculated and the tremie line re-installed into the well. A total of 4.75 yards of 9 sack grout was ordered and placed in the annular space of the tremie line. The grout was brought to surface and the tremie line was removed and the displaced volume was topped off. The pit maintained free board at the end of the job. I will schedule to witness the top of cement the following day. |
0500271752 | 2005-07-05 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Dropped a weighted line into the hole and stopped at 18. No one present at this time. |
0966987525 | 2017-09-18 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to witness plug and abandonment activies on well #2-0358. Operator Bob Foltz was on location and removed the rods and tubing. Mr. Foltz measured the static water level at 15 feet below surface and then began to remove fluid from the well. After failing to advance on drying the well up, the decision was made to run tubing back into the well to act as a tremie line to faciliate setting the bottom plug. Fluid removed from the well contained little to no oil and was mostly black colored water. The fluid was transferred to a lined earthen pit that maintained free board. The location remained stable. I will schedule to return to witness the setting of the bottom 9 sack grout plug. |
1371659722 | 2018-06-12 | Final Restoration | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to determine the status of final restoration on well #2-0358. At the time of my inspection, the working pit was backfilled and the location graded to local contour. The location was within a woodland. Vegetation was established. No signs of erosion or sedimentation were observed. All equipment and debris utilized in plug and abandonment was removed. The access road was reclaimed. The location has passed the requirements for final restoration. |
2103172464 | 2017-09-20 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to document the status of second grout plug on well #2-0358. The grout remained at the surface and had not dropped. The location remained stable. The lined earthen pit wsa still holding fluid. No violations were observed during this inspection. |
