Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0503370207 2017-02-22 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0729. A review of RBDMS indicates the well owner is current with reporting production. The lease road leading to the well and tank battery is a farm driveway that was stable and in good repair. The well and tank battery are located between an agricultural field and tree line. Both locations were stable. The 8.625 well head was below grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with an electric pump jack. Production valves were in the open position. Some paraffin was collected on the top of the stuffing box and polishing rod. The fluid was not fresh. No fluid was collecting or migrating on the ground. No audible or visual leaks were identified. A casing pressure gauge indicated 42 psi. A tubing pressure gauge indicated 130 psi. A vertical drip was plumbed to the well head along with a Big Joe and Little Joe regulator for a domestic supply. An earthen dike that was stable was constructed around the production equipment. I observed some residual production fluid consistent with a legacy operation staining the ground around two poly tanks within the dike. The fluid was not fresh or pooling. Equipment within the dike consisted of one (1) 210 bbl production tank, one (1) 1000 gallon poly brine tank and one (1) 400 gallon poly brine tank. Correct and legible identification was placed on the production tank body. No leaks were observed on the body or fittings of the tank. The load line valve was closed and plugged. The drain line valve was closed and plumbed to the poly tank. The hatch lid was closed. Minimum spacing requirements were met. The 1000 gallon poly brine tank was in good repair. No cracks or leaks were observed. The bottom bung contained a closed valve that was plugged. The inlet line from the production tank was placed into the top opening of the tank. The tank contained minimal fluid. The 400 gallon poly brine tank was in good repair. No cracks or leaks were ob
