0290015320 | 2016-11-08 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose for my inspection was to conduct as status check and determine if the Operator had posted identification at the well head and/or tank battery. A review of RBDMS indicates the Operator is current with reporting production. Lease access is through a commercial driveway that is stable. The well location is stable with well-established vegetation. No identification is posted at the well head. The 8.625 surface casing head is at grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with an electric pump jack. Production valves are in the open position. No audible or visual leaks were detected. A domestic supply connection is present. Production equipment is contained within an earthen dike that is weathered but sufficient for containment. Equipment within the dike consists of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 100 bbl production tank and one (1) 35 bbl poly brine tank. Minimum spacing requirements are met. No identification is posted on any equipment within the battery. The separator is in fair repair. The separator enclosure has extensive corrosion. No meter is contained within the separator. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The production tank remains in good repair with no body leaks. The load line valve is closed and plugged. The brine drain valve is closed and plumbed out to the brine tank. The hatch lid is closed. The poly brine tanks is in good repair with no cracks. The inlet valve is in the closed position. Staining of the gravel from production fluid underneath the inlet valve was oberved. No active leaking was detected. I called the Operator while on location and got a non-working number message. |
0345009736 | 2016-11-18 | Production Wells | No Violations | I received a return phone call from Kelly Kobal with Energy Resources America concerning the missing well identification. I communicated to Ms. Kobal that a previous inspector noted that the identification was missing and that it needed to be installed as soon as possible within the week. Later in the morning Ms. Kobal called again to state that she had gone out and installed identification on the production tank. I was conducting other inspections nearby and revisited well # 2-1609 to find correct and legible identification conspicuously placed on the production tank. No further action is necessary. |
1078515083 | 2014-08-14 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on site for a status check. Identification was not posted on wellhead or tank battery. The tank battery consists of one 100 bbl production tank, one 35 bbl brine tank, and one horizontal separator. All tank valves are plugged. I was unable to locate a meter box. The dike is present and in good repair. The wellhead is equipped with an electric pump jack. Access road and site are stable. Operator will be contacted to post identification. |
