Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1254005390 2016-03-29 Final Restoration No Violations I received a call from Gene Matheny of Mare Energy in regards to the status of this well. He claimed that he received notification that the well was still on his bond and in need of a final restoration. Matheny claimed that he has never owned this well. I could find no evidence of a well transfer. He claimed that this well was plugged before he was even born. There is a plugging record in RBDMS from 7-27-50. On the day of my inspection I found a stone support for a standard rig and an old water well pump 300 feet from the GPS coordinates stored in RBDMS. The support was located in an open, flat bottom area. The actual well coordinates were plotting on a hillside. I found no other oilfield related materials or debris. I found no exposed well casing or components. I found no evidence of a leaking plugged well. There were no signs of old pits. There was a grass covered, vehicle width road that led straight back to the where the well coordinates were plotting. The status should be changed to FR.
