0879821227 | 2019-05-23 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that correct, legible identification had been posted at the tanks and pumping unit. I spoke to Barry Phillips, owner of KT Production, and he said that the small identification sign is only temporary because he plans to paint the tanks this year and then he will get a more permanent sign up. |

1954340210 | 2017-04-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The flow lines were connected at the wellhead and the valves were open. There were no leaks around the wellhead. There was no identification at the wellhead. The tank battery is shared with permits 2778 and 2811. It consisted of two 100 barrel and one 50 barrel steel tanks in an earthen dike. Correct legible identification was posted at the tank battery and there were no leaks or spills. I met with pumper Rick Pace in the field and let him know that each wellhead needs to be identified. |
1989788492 | 2019-05-02 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The flow lines were connected and the tubing valve was open. The production equipment is shared with permits 2778 and 2811. It consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks and one 50 barrel steel tank in an earthen dike. There was no identification at the pumping unit, and the identification sign on the tanks was still from HI Smith. These wells transferred ownership in January 2019. I called Barry Phillips, owner of KT Production to remind him that he needs to get the identification updated for the wells. I also let him know that he is required to have ID at each wellhead that produces into a common tank site. |
