The well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine drive belts and fuel line were intact. The flow lines were connected and the valves were open. The tubing gauge showed 100 pounds and the casing valve showed 60 pounds. The casing line was equipped with a regulator and drip bottle. There were no leaks or spills around the wellhead or pumping unit. The production equipment consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks and one vertical separator in an earthen dike. The dike was well maintained and free of debris. The tank valves were equipped with plugs, and there were no leaks or spills in the dike. The identification sign was old, faded and peeling, and it was left over from Buckeye Oil. I tried to look up Mr. Infields phone number in the database, but the line was blank. I spoke to Mr. Infield in person to ask that he get his ID sign put up and to get his phone number. He said that he has new signs in his garage, but he is waiting for someone to paint the tanks. He said that they were supposed to be painted this summer and he would get the sign put up as soon as it was done. I sent an email to Kathy Smith to update Mr. Infields phone number. |
