0101628764 2016-03-08 Production Wells Violations Noted On the day of my inspection I found that the wellhead was being produced with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The surface casing head was buried and not visible. The valves on the tubing and casing were open. The polished rod showed signs of recent use. Identification was posted at the wellhead. There was a 100 barrel steel tank in an earthen dike back at the well site. The well was plumbed to the tank and the tank was plumbed to a manual pump assembly mounted on the pumping unit to pull fluid from the tank and push it into the flow line to the main tank battery. There was crude oil contamination around the wellhead and under the front of the pump jack. There was also a small section of open tubing that was venting casing gas to the atmosphere. I called Gail Wolboldt with Buckeye Oil to report the issued and request the they clean up the contamination around the wellhead and to inform him that the casing gas must be vented through a properly functioning relief device. The tank battery is shared with the number 1, 2 and 4 wells. It consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks. There was an earthen dike in place around the production equipment. The load valves on the tanks were equipped with plugs. The identification at the tank battery was correctly filled out and legible. I found no leaks or spills at the tank battery.

1762108754 2016-05-24 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the contaminated soil around the wellhead had been cleaned up. The open section of tubing had been equipped with a relief valve and was no longer venting gas. This violation is resolved.
