1366821589 2013-04-24 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection Phil Moran shoveled another 3 tons of clay into the well to fill it to surface. They will allow the clay to settle for another 24 hours.
1379358713 2013-09-16 Final Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I met with Richard Wright and Travis Dugan to discuss the restoration of this well site. The lease road was rutted from erosion and there was a circle of oil soaked grass and soil where the 100 barrel tank was sitting during plugging. Mr. Dugan is aware of Mr. Wrights expectations for the grading and seeding of the well site and lease road. Additionally, Derrick Petroleum has been instructed to get the oil soaked grass and soil cleaned up as soon as possible. The restoration for this site is due on 10/25/13.
1382462169 2013-10-22 Final Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the former well site and lease road was graded out to the approximate contour of the surrounding landscape. Both the lease road and well site were planted in rye grass, with approximately 80% coverage. The current land use is agricultural pasture. The lower portion of the lease road, which is graveled and used as field access, had four water breaks in place. This site passes final restoration.
1398175956 2014-04-21 Final Restoration No Violations I received a call from Richard Wright in regards to the final restoration on this site. I met Mr. Wright at the site and found that there were numerous bare spots. There was approximately 60% coverage in established grass. I also found that there was an area on the former access road that had been washed out. The rut was approximately 12 to 14 deep and 10 to 12 feet long. I assured Mr. Wright that I would contact Derrick Petroleum and have them come back out to fix the rut and re-seed the area.
1403013363 2014-06-17 Final Restoration No Violations This inspection correlates with complaint #4686. On the day of my inspection I found that the former well site was 90% to 100% covered in well established tall grasses. I found no signs of erosion. The lease road is still on use to access agricultural pasture. The landowner has recently graveled 300 to 400 of the lease road.
1408990774 2013-04-15 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection Phil Moran was on location rigging up. The tank battery and pumping unit had been removed. Rods and tubing were still in the well. No clay had been put in the well at this time.
