The flow lines were connected and the valves were open. There was pressure on the gauge. There was a slow gas leak from the tubing packing hammer ring. I met the pumper in the field and he said that it was due to the recent weather. He claimed that it would stop as soon as it warms up. The production equipment consisted of one 210 barrel steel tank and one horizontal separator in an earthen dike. There was also a 100 barrel steel tank in a smaller dike. The tank valves were equipped with bull plugs, and I found no leaks around the equipment. Correct, legible identification was posted on the tank. There was livestock fence around the wellhead and production equipment. |
