Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0444582793 2018-12-10 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a pumping unit that was powered with a Honda engine, which was set up to run on natural gas. The engine was running, but the drivetrain was not engaged. There were no leaks around the wellhead components. The production equipment, which is shared with permits 7077, 7078 and 7105, consisted of six 100 barrel steel tanks and four vertical separators in a shallow earthen dike. There was also one rusted 100 barrel tank in the dike that was empty and not in use. I found no leaks or spills around the tanks, and correct, legible identification was posted at the wellhead and tanks. I called Gregg Boyd to let him know that there was an issue with the pumping unit.
0523793295 2016-09-07 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that correct, legible identification was posted at the wellhead and tank battery. The water tank that was rusted at the bottom had been drained and disconnected. The compliance issues have been resolved.

1317556273 2016-07-19 Production Wells Violations Noted On the day of my inspection I found that the well was being produced with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine was intact, the lines were connected and the valves were open. The unit was in operation at the time of inspection. There were no leaks or spills at the wellhead. There was no identification at the wellhead. The tank battery is shared with permits 7077, 7078 and 7105, and consisted of eight 100 barrel steel tanks, four vertical separators and four meter boxes. An earthen dike was in place around the production equipment. One of the tanks had a bulging rusted spot near the bottom shoulder that was seeping fluid onto the ground. There was no identification posted for any of the wells that share the tank battery. The issues that need addressed to bring this well into compliance are: post correct, legible identification for all four wells at the tank battery; identify each wellhead; replace the 100 barrel tank that is seeping fluid from the bulging rust spot, and remove the impacted soil. I called Gary Hopkins to go over the compliance issues. He agreed to have everything taken care of within 30 days.
