1409532117 2016-07-19 Production Wells Violations Noted On the day of my inspection I found that the well was being produced with an electric powered pumping unit. The motor was intact and the lines were connected. The valves were open and I could hear gas flowing trough the lines at the separator. The stuffing box and polished rod were covered in oil. I found no oil on the ground at the wellhead. The tank battery consisted of two separate dikes. The upper dike contained one 100 barrel steel tank and one vertical separator. The lower dike contained one 100 barrel steel tank. Identification was written on the lower tank, but there was no emergency contact phone number. The valve at the rear of the upper tank was leaking oil. Half of the base of the lower dike was saturated with brine water. The issues that need addressed to bring this well into compliance are: post complete, legible identification; repair the leak at the valve on the upper tank, and removed the oil impacted soil; remove the brine impacted soil from the lower dike. I called Gary Hopkins to go over the compliance issues. He agreed to have everything taken care of within 30 days.
1462261033 2016-10-14 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the brine impacted soil in the dike for the water tank had not been cleaned up. I called Gary Hopkins, who claimed that he was unaware that it had not been taken care of yet. He said that they would get it done next week and call me.

The oil impacted soil in the upper dike had been cleared. The brine impacted soil in the lower dike had not been cleared yet. I spoke with pumper Greg Boyd, who said that he was still working to get it cleaned up.
