The pumping unit was set, the lines were connected, and the electric was connected. The pumping unit was in operation at the time of my inspection. There were still materials and supplies around the well site. The service rig had been rigged down and moved out.

There was a new pumping unit, a string of tubing, and a string of rods staged near the well. There was also a load of gravel near the well for setting the pumping unit. The electric and flow line were in place.

1369395305 2014-01-16 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the dill pit was still open. The fluid was low and there were no sags or tears in the pit liner. I called James Miller to request that he get the pit closed. He claimed that they will get it done next week.
1374756467 2013-07-25 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. The drive pipe was on location, but he was not prepared to spud the well. The pit was not dug yet because of excessive rain water on the location.
1377176955 2013-08-21 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 330 on a 6.5 bit. The permit was on display, the pit liner was in good condition and there were no leaks or spills.
1377784368 2013-08-29 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 440 with a 6.5 bit. The permit was on location, the pit liner was in good shape and there were no leaks or spills.
1378300858 2013-09-04 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. He was at a depth of 440 awaiting the delivery of surface casing. The permit was on location, there were no sags or tears in the pit liner and there were no leaks or spills.
1378740836 2013-09-09 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King had run used, tested and drifted 4.5 casing to 440 in a 6.625 hole. Formation could not break circulation with fresh water. They pumped gel and cotton seed hulls, displaced it out of the casing and shut in for 15 minutes. Then they went back into the cement job with more gel and cotton seed hulls, followed by 80 sacks of cement. The hole never did circulate. The calculated lift pressure for the job was 166 lbs, the actual lift pressure was at 150 lbs. and based on that information Miller Oil was authorized to top the annular space off after allowing the cement to set for 8 hours. They can continue to drill after topping the casing off and running the pressure test. They are not required to run a bond log.
1382381929 2013-10-21 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 750. The permit was on location, there were no sags or tears in the pit liner and there were no leaks or spills around the drill site.

The well site still needed final grade and miscellaneous oilfield debris removed. There were no erosion issues at the well site. I called James Miller to suggest that he get the site cleaned up and graded before the field is planted. He said that they will finish all of the wells on this lease once they get the final pumping unit installed.

The motor, drive belts and electric were intact. The flow line was connected at the wellhead and the valve was open. Correct, legible identification was posted on the electric box. The production equipment consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks in an earthen dike that are shared by the Layman 3 through 13 wells. Correct, legible identification was posted at the tanks for all of the wells on the lease. There were no leaks or spills around the wellhead or tanks. The well site was graded out and covered in vegetation. There were no signs of erosion and there were no materials or debris left behind. The preliminary restoration for this well is complete. The well status should be changed to producing (PR).
