0026420948 2015-01-09 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the drill pit was still open, but the fluid level was low enough that there was no danger of the liner being breeched.
0040417107 2018-08-10 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that a relief valve had been installed on the casing nipple to vent casing gas. The electric motor, drive belts and power supply were intact. The flow lines were connected and the valves were open. I found no leaks around the wellhead. There were no leaks or spills around the tanks. The permit number was written on the pumping unit and correct, legible identification was painted on the tanks.
0083418125 2017-06-07 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well site had been re-graded and I found no exposed pit liner. All of the oil staining around the wellhead had been cleaned up. The area surrounding the wellhead was planted in crops that were growing. The permit number was posted on the pumping unit. This site passes preliminary restoration.
0400072243 2014-09-29 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Vernon King was not drilling. There were no sags or tears in the pit liner and there were no leaks or spills around the site.
0743096091 2018-02-09 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that no relief valve or pop-off valve had been installed at the wellhead. The well was still venting casing gas through a partially opened ball valve.
0793419525 2014-11-03 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Vernon King pressured the casing up to 300 psi. The pressure was held for 30 minutes with no bleed off. The test passed and Vernon King was cleared to resume drilling.
0910944982 2015-05-29 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that no work had been completed on the preliminary restoration.
0946322150 2014-12-12 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King had drilled to a total depth of 958.
1117545862 2018-02-02 Production Wells No Violations I called Jeff Redman on 1/25/18 to ask that he get pop-off/relief valves installed at the wellhead to regulate the gas that was venting from the casing nipple. On the day of my inspection I found that nothing had been done. There was a trickle of gas venting from the casing and no relief valve has been installed.
1411476362 2014-09-22 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. The conductor casing was in the ground and the pit was lined. I found no leaks or spills around the drill site.
1412094398 2014-09-30 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 225. He reported setting 35 of 8.625 casing as conductor. I found no leaks or spills.
1412779495 2014-10-06 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 275. The permit was posted, there were no sags in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills.
1414704057 2014-10-30 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I found Formation Cementing, cementing 5 1/2 inch casing in the wellbore. Please refer to Chris Grimms report as I am filling in for him, and witnessed the last part of the job. The well circulated heavy gel and lite cement at the end of the job.
1415994322 2014-11-13 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 640. There were no leaks or spills and there were no sags in the pit liner.
1416584941 2014-11-21 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. The drilling water was frozen. He reported that he had not drilled all week and he was still at a depth of 640.
1417627638 2014-12-03 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 860. The permit was posted at the rig. There were no sags in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site.
1418066366 2014-12-08 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 920. The permit was posted at the rig. There were no sags in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site.
1638179348 2017-04-24 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the area where the drilling pit was located was still bare. The soil has washed away over time exposing multiple pieces and flaps of pit liner. I also found a bare, oil stained swath approximately 8 inches wide and six feet long extending straight out from the wellhead, in line with a bleeder valve. The bare area was covered with pieces of oily pit liner. This well shares a common tank battery, and there was no identification posted at the wellhead. I called Jeff Redman to go over the issues. He said that they would be out within the next two weeks to take care of the problems.
1641689427 2016-09-19 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the site was still 90% bare. There was some grass and weed growth along the edges of the graded area. I found no signs of erosion on the drill site.
1657486764 2018-01-25 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with an electric powered pumping unit. The motor, drive belts and electric were intact. The flow lines were connected at the wellhead and the tubing valve was open. The permit number was painted on the pumping unit. There was a slow trickle of gas venting out of a ball valve on the casing head, and there was a small spray of oil in the weeds extending out from a bleeder valve on the tubing. The production equipment is shared with permits 7229 and 7257. It consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks in an earthen dike. Correct, legible identification was painted on one of the tanks. There were bull plugs in the tank valves, and there were no leaks or spills in the dike. I called Jeff Redman and left a voice message to contact me in regards to getting a pop-off valve installed for venting casing gas and using a receptacle to catch the oil spray when they open the tubing valve.
1669365869 2019-03-14 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the motor, drive belts and electric line were intact at the pumping unit. The flow lines were connected, the valves were open and there was a proper relief valve in place to vent gas at the wellhead. There were no leaks and the permit number was written on the unit. The shared production equipment was identified and I found no leaks around the tanks.
1695153516 2014-10-24 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling at a depth of 430. There were no sags or tears in the pit liner, and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site.
1959256300 2014-10-30 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King had used, tested 5.5 casing set at 450. Formation Cementing pumped a Bentonite gel and cotton seed hull slug to condition the hole. They broke circulation, but the fluid fell as soon as they stopped pumping. They pumped the gel and cotton seed slugs three more times, with the same result each time. They finally went into cement. Circulation was maintained throughout pumping and cement was circulated to surface. The cement fell approximately 15 when they stopped pumping.
2026911830 2014-11-10 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. There were no sags or tears in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site.
2072890441 2016-07-22 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the area around the pumping unit was growing in agricultural crops. The area where the drilling pit was located had never been final graded and no crops were planted. I found no materials and debris around the well site. I spoke with Vernon King. He claimed that Jeff Redman was planning to be out with a dozer in the next two days to close the pit on permit 7257, and finish grading the other three sites.
2110630315 2016-08-05 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the rough soil where the pit was located had been final graded. I spoke with Vernon King. He claimed that he would be out this weekend to seed the area. The well is located in an agricultural crop field. I told Vernon that there was no need to seed the entire graded area since it will be plowed and planted. I suggested that he seed the immediate area around the pumping unit where no crops will be planted. There were no signs of erosion at the well site.
2118664269 2014-10-31 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations Vernon King reported that the cement had fallen to 35. I authorized him to top it off with sack cement. He reported that it took five 80 pound bags.
2122510952 2015-01-21 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the drilling pit had been closed.
