0203078410 | 2015-05-14 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the restoration had not been started. I contacted Ron Babcock. He claimed that he was recovering from a heart attack and he would be out to do the restoration in 4 to 6 weeks. |
0727120552 | 2014-10-29 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had spudded the well on 10/27/14. They had 10.75 conductor casing driven to 40. They had just started on the surface hole. The pit was lined and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
0994384600 | 2014-11-13 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling at a depth of 2950. The permit was posted in the drilling rig. There were no sags in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
1216417152 | 2014-11-10 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that Ron Babcock had topped the surface casing annulus off with 240 lbs. of sack cement. H&D Drilling was drilling on air at a depth of 940. There were no sags or tears in the pit liner and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
1307112241 | 2015-07-23 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the drill site and disturbed area along the lease road had been graded out and seeded. The lease road was growing in well established short grass. The drill site had not germinated yet. I contacted Ron Babcock. He claimed that they just seeded last Friday. All materials and debris were removed. |
1343585398 | 2015-01-12 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the drilling equipment had been removed from the location. The pit was closed. The wellhead was equipped with a pumping unit. The tank battery consisted of two 100 barrel tanks. The ground was snow covered. There were still some materials and debris left behind and the site needs to be graded and seeded. |
1415376025 | 2014-11-05 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling at a depth of 530. The permit was posted and the pit was lined. I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
1415633371 | 2014-11-08 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Ron Babcock contacted me to report that the bond log showed the cement top at 34. I gave authorization to top the casing annulus off with sack cement. |
1444759035 | 2015-10-13 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well site was 100% covered in well established tall and short grasses. I found no signs of erosion or run-off. This site passes preliminary restoration. |
1821141628 | 2014-11-07 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had new 7 casing set at 605. Formation attempted to break circulation by pumping a heavy mix of gel and cotton seed hulls prior to mixing cement. Circulation was never established. They pumped 215 sacks of class A cement with no cement circulated to surface. Formation landed the wiper plug at 200 psi and increased the pressure to 750 psi. They shut the cement in and held the pressure for 5 minutes with no decrease in the pressure. Ron Babcock was ordered to have a cement bond log ran on the surface casing. |
