I spoke with Vernon King. He claimed that Jeff Redman was planning to be out with a dozer in the next two days to close the pit on permit 7257, and finish grading the other three sites.

I received documentation for the pressure test of the used casing. Formation established circulation with fresh water, pumped gel and cotton seed hulls, and then cemented the casing to surface with 96 sacks of class A cement. Good circulation was maintained throughout the job, with approximately 7 barrels of cement returns.

They took the pressure up to 360 psi, it stabilized at 320 psi and held steady for 30 minutes with no reduction in pressure. The test was passed and Vernon King was authorized to resume drilling. I found that the cement had fallen approximately 40 feet. I told Jeff Redman that they need to top it off with sack cement.
