The tank battery consisted of two 100 barrel stock tanks, and an earthen dike. Proper identification was posted. There has been no production reported for this well since 2007. Make well capable of commercial production within 30 days; or plugging is required within 90 days. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of bond. |

| 1543940256 | 2018-12-04 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The steel flow lines were connected at the wellhead, and there were two plastic gas lines running off into the forest in different directions. The well was venting gas at the wellhead through a pop-off valve. There were no leaks around the wellhead, but there was some oil staining under the engine. There was a barely legible identification sign laying on the ground next to the unit that showed H&D Drilling on one side, and an unidentified owners address and phone number on the other side. Neither side of the sign had the correct permit number. The production equipment consisted of one 140 barrel steel tank, one 100 barrel steel tank and one 30 barrel poly tank in an earthen dike. There were no leaks or spills around the tanks. The identification written on the side of the 100 barrel tank was for H&D Drilling, but the permit number was wrong. They had it labeled as permit 262-A. I checked the county records and found no permit 262 to be listed under H&D Drilling. I called Harold Donaker and requested the he, or his company representative meet me at the well site to get the identification straightened out. The well is equipped for production and Harold confirmed that it is being pumped. He did not have any insight as to why they are showing all zeros on the annual production reports. Harold said that they would start reporting the production under the correct permit number. I am closing the compliance notice for non production, and I will meet with H&D in the field to correct the misidentification. |
