Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0649191119 2016-04-13 Work Over Reconditioning No Violations I inspected this well during maintenance and repair work being performed by RA Gibson. A fitting from the 7-inch casing was leaking and repaired. A new series of fittings have been added to replace the older, corroded fittings. I advised the well owner that signage was needed at the wellhead.
1443543456 2015-09-29 Production Wells No Violations I inspected this well location pursuant to a call from Mac Oilfield Service (Mac). Mac was contacted by the landowner (Mr. Robert Running) because of leaking gas from a exempted domestic well located on the property. The well is located in a wooded area south of the residence. At the time of this inspection, there is a leak of gas originating from a 3.5-inch threaded plug on the side of the 8.625-inch casing. Repairs to the well will be complicated by the lack of any isolation valves or fittings which would allow for well control to be established safely. I will be supplying Mr. Running with a list of oilfield contractors/consultants to assist him with solving the leak. There are no fluids leaking at the time of this inspection.
1460474873 2016-04-12 Work Over Reconditioning No Violations I inspected this location pursuant to a discussion with RA Gibson & Associates who reported that they had been contracted by the well owner to perform service and repair on a leak in the 8-inch well casing. At the time of this inspection, Gibson crews are staging two 250-gallon plastic tanks to be used to collect fluid during blow down procedures. Visible elements of the well consist of 10-inch casing, 8.625-inch casing, 7-inch casing, and 3-inch production tubing. There was a small leak in a supply line connected to the 7-inch casing, which had leaked gas and oil, and was repaired by Moore Well Service previously. There was also gas leaking from the annular space between the 8.625-inch casing and the 10-inch casing. It was suspected that there may be a hole in the 8.625-inch casing, below grade. Efforts to assess the nature and extent of the problem were on-going. There is some oil-impact to the surrounding surficial soils which will need to be mitigated.
