The I&O Shinsky well was originally drilled and completed March 28, 1967 by Dan Neuberg with the lease name of Ronald Alaimo #1, The TD was 3867 feet to the Copper Ridge unit. Sour gas was encountered in the Oriskany from 744 to 750 foot. No plugging record was located in the Images, but it appears the well was plugged.

Cassidy Drilling Inc. purchased a drill permit to reopen this well issued on 8/10/1973. The original proposed depth was 1700 feet to the Newburg Fm. The Record of Cementing sheet indicates special conditions Such that. The drill was reopened to 956 feet, when the drill string became lodged in the borehole. The Drill string was shot off at 746 feet and 5 drill collars and 2 joints of drill pipe were abandoned in the hole. The 4.5 inch production string was installed and cemented at 746 feet. Cement, 180 sacks, was circulated with fair returns. And cemented the Drill collars and drill pipe in place. Fair Returns of cement were noted. RE-OPEN 8-15-73 I&O CN 2001 07 027

1113567923 2005-04-14 Orphan No Violations Inspect Well. Contract issued to plug well. Ground to wet to mobe equipment onto site. Tubing was cut off and allowed to drop. The condition of the tubing was completely rusted through. A 4 inch packter was set to prevent leaking H2S and allow the ground to dry.
