1978730714 2004-01-28 Production Wells No Violations The following is an administrative inspection at the request of the Brian Smith, Union Nation Mortgage Co. This well was registered as an Exempt Domestic Well. The Exempt Domestic Criteria are: 1, The Owner of the estate of the tract on which the well is located owns the well. 2, The Well MUST be primarily used to provide gas for the Owners domestic use. 3, Well MUST be more than 200 feet from any inhabited private dwelling house, not located on the tract on which the well is located. 4, The well MUST be more than 200 feet from any public Building. 5, If Criteria 3 or 4 are not met, Proof of Insurance and the Insurance requirements must be submitted to the Division of Mineral Resources Management. Insurance Requirements are Bodily Injury of $300.000.00 and Property Damage of $300.000.00.

The land owner is the owner / operator of the well. To maintain Exempt Domestic Owner status the well can only supply gas to the dwelling on the property. Do to the proximity of the well to adjacent property owners the owner is required to meet and maintain Insurance. There is an inherent risk and liability in the ownership of any oil and gas well.
