The property is owned by Jason Kingery of 7510 Darrow Road, Berlin Heights, Ohio Erie County, Berlin Heights Township, parcel number 01-00484.002. The Well is located at N41.36448 W82.48824; along the west property line and about 75 feet south of the farm house. An API number for this well was requested. The well is in a vault and is about 3 feet below grade. This well appears to have previously supplied the farm house and may have a line connected to the house. This is a gas well with a three bolt cover, and well head. A gas line with a valve and a union that is buried runs to the farm house. The Gas meter detected low levels of LEL lower explosive limit; 2 percent, and low levels of hydrogen sulfide; 2 parts per million. A moderate odor is present and wafts from the vault. The current landowner has noted sulfur odors on calm days at the house and barn. The condition of the well head is heavily deteriorated and rusted, the gas line is heavily deteriorated and rusted and is at risk of breaking when worked on. The bolts, designed to hold the well head cap onto the well head are missing. Photos were collected.
