0137038310 2012-02-23 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations Mr. Brian Bostaph, an Environmental Geologist with Solar Testing Labs, Inc. requested an inspection of this well. During the inspection, it was noted that the documented coordinates, in RBDMS, place the wellbore between a nursing home building and a man-made pond located approximately 75 away. At the time of inspection, there was no above ground casing or leakage at the surface. A metal detector utilized for this inspection showed a negative and positive polarity near the alleged well location. This reading would indicate a horizontal pipe, which may or may not have been related to oil and gas. Note: Location approx 30 from nursing home with nearby concrete sidewalk at approx 5. An approx 3 x 1 bare area with duck tracks (nearby pond) was observed within approx 10 of coordinates. The soil was field tested and High Range Quantabs showed no Cl-. Furthermore, there were no signs of seepage/bubbling in this area. Note: The GPS exhibited fluctuation (0 - 6)and would show well location closer to concrete sidewalk location. The 0 reading would briefly place well under sidewalk. The search for the wellbore was also extended outward from the alleged location to the perimeter of property surrounding the pond, but no casing was found. A representative with nursing home stated no unusual problems observed and the pond is healthy.
