0532017539 2010-04-16 Production Wells Violations Noted On site investigating an odor complaint in the area. Tank batty has a half tank and a 210BBl tank in it. Oil has leaked out of the bottom of the 210BBL tank, approximately two gallons, oil is within the dike area. Dike is weathered down on the west side, it is insufficient to contain an oil or brine leak. There is a pond north west of the tank battery, drainage from around the tank battery flows into the pond. Tanks are no longer functional, they need to be removed or repaired. Identification sign needs posted with correct contact information. Please contact me if you have any questions (330) 283-3204. Production needs to be reported for this well, last report production for this well was in 1988.
1302183851 2011-04-06 Production Wells Violations Noted Bottom of the 210 barrel tank is rusted out, residual oil in the bottom of the tank is leaking onto the ground. Tank needs cleaned and removed from location. 50 Barrel tank is no longer capable of containing brine and oil. Bottom of the tank is compromised. Brine and oil is leaking onto the ground from the tank. Tanks need cleaned and removed from location. All oil and brine, needs to be removed from location. Contaminated soil and rock needs removed from location. All plumbing no longer used in the production of the well needs removed. If tanks are not to be replaced, area needs to be graded and seeded. Identification sign needs posted at the wellhead. Pictures will be attached to this report. Picture #1 is the bottom of the 210 Bbl tank showing oil leaking out of the bottom. Picture #2 is the extent of the leaking oil. Picture #3 Shows the 210 Bbl no loner capable of containing brine and oil. All contaminated rock and soil needs removed from location. Picture #4 50Bbl no longer capable of containing brine or oil. Picture #5 shows oil staining and leaking. Once again all oil and brine needs removed. Tanks cleaned and removed. Failure to complete work will result in further administrative and enforcement action. I have contact information if needed for companies that remove tanks, clean up spills and reclaim well sites.
1303927991 2011-04-26 Production Wells No Violations Operator has removed tanks and cleaned up oil residue. Unused piping has been removed from the site. Location of the tank battery has been graded. Service company has a service rig and a brine truck on site. Equipment was shut down, no one on location. Appears landowner is having well swabbed.
