0455058146 | 2018-07-03 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | During this inspection, the well was observed to be equipped with a plunger lift assembly and the gate valve on the tubing was open. The 2 inch flow line valve was open. There was a leak at the lubricating head on the well tubing. Oil staining had run down the length of the lubricating head. The well was fenced but the lock on the door was not locking accordingly. Production records for this well were up to date. The tank battery consisted of one 100 BBL production tank, one 35 BBL poly brine tank and two mechanical separators. Valves on the separators were open and the chart showed production. The 35 BBL poly tank had split down the side. Oil and water was still inside the tank at the bottom. The load line off of the 100 BBL tank was equipped with a flat plug but was not locked. The tank battery was diked and fenced but the lock on the man door was not able to be locked. Proper, legible signage was located at the well and tank battery. The lease access was stable. I contacted Alliance Petroleum and spoke with Matt Postlathwaite about removing the 35 BBL poly tank and adding some locks on the well and tank battery man doors, as well as the tank load line valve. It was also discussed that the lubricating head on the well needed to be repaired. |
