Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1265849615 2014-12-10 Production Wells No Violations The initial inspection was done on 10-6-14 at the request of the landowners when a spot of oil was discovered in an agricultural field on 10-5-2014. At the time of the inspection the fluid level inside the riser pipe has remained static at about 3 below grade. No gas levels were detected due to high winds at the location. The well will be monitored by the landowner and the Division of Oil & Gas until proper ownership of the well can be determined. The well has been referred to the Orphan Well Program. An API # was assigned on 10-8-2014.
1418917726 2014-10-06 Production Wells No Violations This inspection was done at the request of the landowners when a spot of oil was discovered in an agricultural field on 10-5-2014. At the time of the inspection the area was excavated by the landowner to a depth of around 10 feet. An approximately 6 diameter casing was discovered with oil slowly flowing out the top. The excavated hole was to deep to safely get an accurate measurement on the casing. A 15 long by 10 diameter plastic riser pipe was placed over the existing casing and the remaining hole was filled in. The well will be monitored by the landowner and the Division of Oil & Gas until proper ownership of the well can be determined. The well will also be referred to the Orphan Well Program. An API # was assigned on 10-8-2014.
1422645651 2015-01-23 Production Wells No Violations At the time of the inspection the access to the well was blocked by large drifts of snow. I will return at a later date to do a follow-up inspection and determine the fluid level inside the riser. An application for the Orphan Well Program was also delivered to Todd Welch to be completed. This well was referred to the Orphan Well Program for review.
