1136160150 | 2019-04-16 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the second stage intermediate casing cement job. Patterson 571 drilled a 12.25 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 6911 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 13.375 inch diameter intermediate casing to a depth of 1585 feet. Wyoming Casing ran 6872 feet of 9.6025 inch diameter casing, p-110, 40 lbs/foot, with 5 foot stick up. Casing was centralized. Shoe track is 96 feet long. DV tool set at 4334 with packer at 4345 feet. Halliburton was onsite with 465 sacks of class A lead cement and 365 sacks of class A tail cement for the first stage. Lead cement weighed with mudscale at 13.5 ppg and yield of 1.391. Tail cement weighed with mudscale at 15 ppg and yield of 1.148. 20% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 209 barrels of oil base mud, then 25 barrels of gel, and 293 barrels of 9 ppg brine. 50 barrels of 8.4 ppg spacer pumped ahead of cement. Plug landed and floats held. Packer was inflated and DV tool open to pump second stage. Halliburton pumped 50 barrels of 8.4 ppg spacer and 1140 sacks of class A tail cement. Tail cement weighed with mudscale at 13.5 ppg and yield of 1.389. Cement displaced with 318.5 barrels of oil based mud. 30% excess ran in open hole. 47 barrels of cement returned to surface weighing 12.1 ppg. All depths are based on rig KB. Rig KB is 25 feet. 500 compressive strength wait time on cement is 11 hours and 50 minutes. Superintenant James Sharp and company man Josh Blackwell were specifically told they are not permitted to drill out the DV tool prior to the 11:50 wait time. |
