Both Ms. Snowman and her father reside in California and have been informed by letter from Columbia that house gas will no longer be provided to their residential dwelling in Hocking County. Questions regarding the Ohio Revised Code and Administrative code were answered. Ms. Snowman was informed that lease disputes are a civil matter and to talk with an oil and gas attorney. Ms. Snowman requested an inspection of this well along with a potential second well on property. An inspection revealed storage well containing Columbia Gas Transmission identification showing well no. 3538 with no permit number. An old Ohio Fuel Gas (OFG) tag was also observed. The well consists of manifold with swage and valves attached to 4.5 or 5 casing and 8 casing. A GPS reading was obtained and plotted on map. Currently, no well is located within close proximity. Mr. Jason Martin, Storage Well Engineer, with Columbia Gas Transmission was contacted by telephone regarding the inspection. Mr. Martin states Permit Number 543 for this storage well. He was informed that RBDMS currently shows Historic Well Owner and to placed under Columbia Gas. Central Office was provided GPS coords and notified of inaccurate well location. |
