1685111926 2019-05-30 Production Wells No Violations Upon arriving at 7:45 AM, I walked to the well and found a well with a pumping unit. The tubing and casing wellhead valves were in the open position. The well was equipped with an approved venting device. The venting device was not in compliance with 1501:9-9-05(B). The venting device was allowing natural gas to escape continually instead of allowing the well to build gas pressure and release the gas pressure at given intervals. The well was equipped with a flare that was not being used. The owner of the well shall set the approved venting device to allow the release of the natural gas pressure at intervals instead of continually or the owner of the well shall use the flair that was constructed to allow the natural gas to burned off.
