I did not observe identification at the well. I contacted Zach Poling at 9:23 AM. I advised Zach that the clean up was complete but identification has not been posted at the well. Zach said he would have his pumper post identification as soon as he could. The violation will be resolved once identification is posted. Time of inspection: 8:00 AM. Weather: 64 degrees F, Cloudy
1617294964 2019-02-14 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the well was equipped with a pumping unit and electric motor. The well was enclosed within a chain link fence. This well produces into a shared tank battery with API permit number 3460. The tank battery consists of (2) 210 barrel tanks inside an earthen dike. I did not observe identification at the well or tank battery. During my inspection of the tank battery I observed oil contamination inside the dike that was trapped in a layer of ice across the dike. I took several photos of the oil contamination. The well owner shall remove the oil contamination once the ice thaws and post identification within 10 days at the well and tank battery. I contacted Zach Poling at 2:45 PM and advised him of the violations. Time of inspection: 2:00 PM. Weather: 45 degrees F, Overcast
1619924858 2019-04-17 Production Wells No Violations I conducted a compliance notice follow-up at the tank battery. The oil has not been cleaned up from within the dike. I observed saturated oil absorbent pads that need to be removed. I took several photos of the oil during the inspection. I left a voicemail message for Zach Poling at 9:38 AM and advised him of my follow-up inspection. Time of inspection: 8:00 AM. Weather: 50 degrees F, Partly cloudy
1621969689 2019-03-28 Production Wells No Violations My inspection of the tank battery revealed that the oil has not been cleaned up. The water level that was in the dike has been pumped down and allowed the oil move to the perimeter of the dike wall. It appears that some clean up has taken place as I observed absorbent pads in the oil. The pads were completely saturated and need removed. I took several photos of the tank battery.
