Contacted by Jim Wiers to inspect an old well on his property he was considering to use to heat a greenhouse they are going to construct. This well may qualify for the orphan program. The well is located in a shed and at the edge of a parking area. The well consists of an 8 inch casing with 2 inch tubing with a tie down bracket indicating the tubing is set on a packer. The tubing has rusted though at the surface. A one or 1.5 inch pipe has been inserted into the tubing as a fix to the rusted pipe. The well is located at N40.99636 W82.72970; Huron County; New Haven Township; SW1/4, SW1/4 of Section 4; Lot 168; Shelby Quadrangle. |
