1058457569 | 2016-07-20 | Orphan | No Violations | Upon inspection of this orphan well, it was observed that the status of the well has not changed. The well is steadily leaking brine and natural gas to the surface. Vegetation kill area is still present around the well and extends to the banks of Holland Fork, a nearby creek. New photos were taken. |

1362000088 | 2005-04-07 | Production Wells | No Violations | No well at location; but approx. 150-200 to the west is barren area with gas bubbling through hole in ground. See picutres 516 and 517. |
1423755669 | 2015-02-11 | Orphan | No Violations | I conducted my inspection this day with Kip Thompson, Jackson County Inspector. We found no visible casing in this well. There was gas bubbling up through the water/brine in the borehole. Holland Fork Creek is located 60 down gradient of this well. There is a trough cut to the creek but it is grass covered and there is no evidence of brine scald. There is a 2 x 2 area around the well that has been dammed up has caused water to pool in that area. The well is bubbling considerably but the fluids are staying within the confines of the pool. There is 2 diameter black plastic pipe protruding from the well bore, the purpose of which is not known. The well is situated approximately 50 east of Gieke Road and there is are utilities located about 10 off the road that will have to be worked around. There is a hunters trail that runs east and back into the pines and the well is less than 5 off the trail and can easily be seen. No records have been found for this well in our database. GPS coordinates and pictures were taken. SEM is 245. This is an old referral from 2005? |
1426599800 | 2015-03-11 | Field Inspected, Well Not Found | No Violations | Orphan well inspection. This is the third attempt to locate this well. I used previous inspection to determine the location of the well. I also spoke with inspector John Scott and he indicated the well was not found during his inspection. |
1473862663 | 2016-07-20 | Orphan | No Violations | Orphan well status inspection: Upon inspection, it is observed that the well site conditions have not changed. The well is idle, orphan, and is steadily leaking brine and natural gas to the surface. Vegetation kill is still present around the well and extending down to the Holland Fork stream bed. New photos were taken of the well location. |
1497533225 | 2017-06-01 | Orphan | No Violations | Orphan well field work with DOGRM staff members Jake Glascock, Nate Lane, Josh Schiering, and Paul Carder to evaluate this orphan well site for hydrogeological, safety, environmental, and radiological considerations. The brine seep was hand excavated to reveal the casing strings and tubing in the wellbore. The 6.63 diameter and 5.19 diameter casings were observed to be continuously seeping brine and natural gas to surface. The 1.5 diameter tubing is static. An attempt was made to gauge the depth of the well, however the tubing and casings are bridged with soil near the surface from being buried below surface for years. The well casings was left uncovered since the plugging project is scheduled to be bid out in September. Photos were taken. |

The well is currently leaking brine to the ground surface and natural gas to the atmosphere. Fluid occasionally flows downhill from the well and into Holland Fork. Photos were taken of the well location and access road. |
