1323326480 2013-03-20 Production Wells No Violations Checked this well for a tank battery, gas meter, or both to obtain information on ownership of the Kelch well. Found an old Gatherco Gas line marker with location number. Contacted Gatherco (800-203-0285) to find out if they have any information on ownership of this well. They found the gas line from the code (FR104 6) I provided to them on the marker. This gas line has been abandoned by Gatherco. There is no tank battery associated with these wells in this valley.
1362147070 2013-02-28 Production Wells Violations Noted Wellhead is missing identification sign. According to 1501:9-9-05(A)10/1509:23 the well identification sign shall include owners name, county, township, well name and number, permit number for the well, and emergency contact number. I monitored the site around the wellhead and measured low concentrations of methane gas, less than 1.0 meter reading units. At the location of the gas leak, the detectors for methane gas and the LEL exceeded their maximum meter reading unit capabilities. According to 1501:9-9-05(A)1/1509:20 Well is insufficiently equipped to prevent escape of oil and gas. The owner shall repair or replace faulty equipment on the well to prevent the release of any contaminants into the environment. There is no tank battery associated with this well. Location of the wellhead is within 20 feet Richland Furnace Road.
1400397479 2013-02-28 Production Wells Violations Noted Ownership of this well is presently not clear . Current land owner needs to establish past owner assignments to determine responsible party and eventually transfer ownership. Prior ownership of property is most recently McGlincheys sister and then earlier her parents. According to 1501:NONEH the family members failed to notify DOGRM of assignment or transfer of this well. This well shall be transferred to current owner/operator. Assignment should be noted in deed when property transfer occurred between the sister and their parents, and ultimately her sister and Harriet McGlinchey nee Leasure. There is no tank battery associated with this well. The well is approximately twenty feet from Richland Furnace Road.
