0026512157 | 2018-04-17 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found Patterson 795 was drilling an 8.5 inch diameter hole at a depth of 9146 feet. They are drilling in their curve. Yesterday they had to trip out of hole for motor failure. On Saturday, they cemented their 9.625 inch diameter casing and did not get cement back to surface. They believe cement top is around 890 feet. 13.325 inch diameter surface casing was only set to 748 feet on this well because top hole rig encountered gas and set casing shallow. Review of the 13.375 CBL indicates a very good cement job. Informed company man Russ White that I would need to see a CBL of 9.625 inch diameter prior to running 5.5 inch diameter production casing. |
0964692928 | 2018-06-12 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found this pad having two wells. Wells are in the process of being plumbed into the production equipment. Wells have been fracked. Surface casing annulus has 200 psi and the intermediate has 850 psi. Production equipment includes two 500 barrel steel tanks, three sand seperators, two GPUs, and one line heater. Site meets requirements of 1509.072(A) for preliminary restoration. |
0989071144 | 2017-10-30 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the date of my inspection I found Falcon Drilling rig 26 rigging up on this well. They were planning to begin drilling on 10/31, but have been put on standby. The pad is surrounded by a fenced earthen dike covered by healthy vegetation. The pad drain valves are in the closed position and do not appear to be leaking. |
1238217295 | 2018-03-13 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found a pad with two wells that have not been drilled passed their surface casings. Xtreme rig is to be on location in the near future to finish drilling the wells. Frac tanks and matting is on location. Outslopes of pad are vegetated and stable.Per ORC 1509.072A this permit is not eligible for a preliminary restoration until it is drilled to total depth. The pad is stable and vegetated. Site is gated and locked. |
1509116574 | 2017-10-27 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Precision Rathole had augured a 36 inch diameter hole to 120 feet. 120 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing was run. O-tex was onsite with 420 sacks of class H cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 65% percent excess ran. Cement was displaced with 87 barrels of fresh water. 15 barrels of cement returned to surface. A basket was ran on conductor casing at 70 feet as they believed there was a void. We had good returns to surface throughout the job. |
1945567280 | 2018-04-09 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 795 was drilling a 12.25 inch diameter hole at 950 feet. There is a flare burning currently. Top hole rig Falcon 26 set the surface shallower than permitted because they encountered gas while drilling. |
